SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business", founded in 1964, is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and a premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs. SCORE is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Herndon, Virginia and Washington, D.C. With 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, and 10,500 volunteers, made up of both working and retired executives and business owners who donate time and expertise as business counselors nationwide.
