Workshop SCORE First Step Workshop is designed for individuals who want to learn how to start a business existing business owners who want to grow their business.

During this workshop, local business professionals will provide workshop participants with valuable information and ideas on better ways to start or grow a business. Many workshop presenters are practicing professionals including accountants, lawyers, bankers, commercial real estate brokers, and business managers from diverse businesses and industries. Other facilitators are SCORE counselors who have years of industry and business experience.

Workshop Information

COST: All workshops are $79.00 (Late Registration $89.00)

Workshop seating is limited to 20 people
5-Day Advanced Registration is required
Participation fee for this workshop is $79 per person
The participation fee includes a continental breakfast, beverages at breaks and all workshop materials

Your place is not confirmed until payment is received. To secure a seat at a workshop, print out the completed form and mail it along with your check in the amount of $79.00 per person to Richmond SCORE Chapter 12 and send it to the Richmond SCORE office address (listed at the bottom of the gray column on the left side of this page).

Schedule and Location

The First Step Workshop is held on the second Friday of every month from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Capital One Town Center which is located at West Creek. Directions to Capital One Town Center
